FREDERICK, MD – October 29, 2021: The Curtis Mason Smith Memorial Fund has been established with The Community Foundation of Frederick County and becomes one of its more than 750 component funds.
Founded by Zachary and Samantha Smith, in memory of their son, this donor-advised fund will provide grants to Frederick County Career and Technology Center (CTC) in support of its programs. Curtis graduated from Governor Thomas Johnson High School in 2020, where he learned the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning trade through the Career and Tech program. Curtis’ legacy will forever be remembered through future students who will benefit from the grants provided to Frederick County CTC for its educational and hands-on learning programs.
