FREDERICK, MD – July 17, 2019: With substance use disorder a very prominent part of everyday news, Raymond and Susan Malamet have taken action by creating The Malamet Family Fund with The Community Foundation of Frederick County. The fund becomes one of more than 700 funds under management. The Malamets care deeply about helping people who suffer from this disorder. The fund will provide grants to Frederick County area nonprofits working in areas of substance use disorder, including programs for education, prevention, and treatment.
